Hawaiian Sanctuary Plant Aloha Class
Join us every Thursday morning. Learn how to efficiently grow your own food at home to provide a fresh organic balanced diet. Increase food security & resiliency to natural disaster in Hawaiʻi by relocalizing & diversifying our food supply. Every class is a blend of practical theory & hands on projects. They start promptly with a lecture and Q&A before a hands-on farm experience. Come prepared to take notes, wear closed toe shoes, sun hat, & gloves. Keiki are welcome.

Aloha Aina Kaloko Community Work Day
We will be maintaining pickleweed, invasive jellyfish removal as well as bagging more old dry material. We will finish with a potluck & talking story. Bring long sleeve clothing, jeans/leggings, tabis/thick closed toe shoes/other protective wear for in the pond & on land, a reusable water bottle (we have jugs for filling) and reef safe sunscreen. Keiki are welcome but must be chaperoned at all times.

Come explore the beautiful ahupuaʻa of Waipā and malama stream. Help us reforest our stream restoration site with native plants. Bring a water bottle, appropriate footwear (shoes, boots, or tabis), towel, snacks, sunscreen, gloves, insect repellant, good energy and a smile! Keiki are welcome and lunch will be provided.
