Partnering with ‘Ohana 

Partnering with ‘Ohana from pregnancy until kindergarten

‘Ohana receive weekly home visits where they have the opportunity to grow in positive parenting practices, learn about their child’s development, and build a loving relationship between parent and child.  Our Parent Educators  provide the Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) programs as a part of the  Your ‘Ohana Network of the state of Hawai’i.

Requirements

Residency: 

  • O’ahu – ‘Ewa and Kalaeloa
  • Maui – Wailuku, Kihei, Kahului
  • Hawai’i – Captain Cook to Seaview Circle, Palani Rd. North to Kiholo Bay

‘Ohana may enroll in the PAT program while prenatal until three (3) months of age.

‘Ohana may enroll in the HIPPY program for children who are between the ages of three until kindergarten entry or age 5, whichever comes first.
